The office is still registering a good number of potential
purchasers; enquiries are at a high level for this time of year
with numerous exchanges and completions over the last six weeks.
This has led to a shortage of new instructions to offer to our
applicants who despite the media’s pessimistic treatment of
the economic news remain hopeful of purchasing homes in the
area.
We have purchasers looking for Bridport town homes, in a central
but quiet area with parking and good sized garden. Large well
fitted kitchens are highly prized and sort after.
We also have a number of good applicants ready to purchase village
houses or cottages with ‘character’. Abbotsbury, West
Bexington Burton Bradstock and West Bay all remain popular coastal
locations. Beaminster, Netherbury, Loders and the Marshwood Vale
together with the Bride Valley are in demand by those looking for a
rural or country village location. Strongest demand lies within the
price range £200,000 to £500,000.
